Seems the math profs don't kn Blankman (91.148.95.7) 2008-07-27 07:34:32 I've seen the lim (x->8 ) [1/(x-8 )] equals infinity before. Problem is, that's not true. Unless of course you're considering one sided limits in which case this should be x tends to eight from the positive side. Otherwise the answer isn't true. I'd fail the prof as well.
