You wouldn't laugh if it was you starving...so shut up fat ass. Typical stupid American response...laugh at another persons pain and misery.
Anonymous (85.220.35.41) 2008-10-14 20:20:49

I laughed like crazy at darfur..

But unlike the others i won't try to excuse it. Im a true asshole through and through with no decency at all..

I'm the person that stuffs the charity box with dry bread and send it to the red cross after eating a big fuck off burger while looking at pictures of starving kids.
dontmatter (24.6.118.132) 2008-10-07 19:07:27

damn man that's rough, like there's no room to laugh about that.
:/ (134.126.199.47) 2008-10-06 09:04:14

You shouldn't laugh, that's not meant to be funny it's just for comparison purposes.

If anything it should be sad because they only have a few items as the staples of their diet, meaning they suffer from malnutrition.

Anonymous (130.85.217.147) 2008-10-06 09:19:36

good ol' darfur
Em (67.169.109.215) 2008-10-06 09:45:41

Is that really 9 loaves of bread in Italy?? How can you eat all that? 9?
apple (74.166.22.174) 2008-10-06 17:35:25

I saw 13. O.O
Anonymous (98.215.107.129) 2008-10-06 10:30:28

I think it's even funnier to see the adopted kid from the picture in Italy. Make that reject stand in the corner and don't come near the real children!
anonymous 2 (140.254.59.219) 2008-10-08 10:51:11

that was the funniest comment ever created, i read it, looked at the picture (especially the reject kids face, which makes it even more hilarious) and laughed for 5 min straight. well done!
Anonymous (76.84.196.80) 2008-10-06 10:31:40

Anonymous (75.187.122.213) 2008-10-06 11:33:51

hahahahhaah darfur
anothertimeandplace (12.202.100.41) 2008-10-06 11:41:18

What I find to be most sad is the fact that even those people from Dafur seem to have more nutritious food than the people from North Carolina. They at least have some green vegetables. All I see for the people in America is over processed foods and sugary drinks and fast food. It's disgusting.
¡¡?un?p os ?,? (63.146.101.44) 2008-10-06 15:51:18

Sorry, but I see at least 2 tomatoes, 2 bunches of grapes, and 5-6 cans of veggies stacked up in the back that totals probably 400% of the nutrition of the Darfur family's weekly intake of oats, wheat and limes.

The only horrible things they have there is the pizza, McDonald's, Burger King, potato chips and soda. Other than that it looks like mostly pasta, meat and poultry. All the other families have a ton of organics vegetables other than the Japanese family which has mostly starches like rice.
anothertimeandplace (12.202.100.41) 2008-10-07 10:07:35

two tomatoes and a bunch of grapes seems to be the ONLY non processed foods that they have. The canned vegetables are processed and have tons of sodium in them. Americans can no longer seem to subsist on anything but processed food. The fresh grains and fresh vegetables of the family in Dafur are still the healthier options. Even the Japanese family has twice the amount of fresh fruits and vegetables, despite that starches are the main staple in that country.

And for all of you stating "You don't know what it's like to be an American", I AM an American, and I'm still disgusted by what I see. It's no wonder that the obesity rate of American is so extraordinarily high if that is how people truly eat. Less fast food and processed foods with exceedingly high amounts of fat and sodium would probably deal with a grand amount of the obesity in the nation.
Anonymous (131.231.221.105) 2008-10-06 12:41:26

The American one is SHOCKING!!! I can't help but notice though that none of them are obese. Have they just gotten a cliché spread for that country and put any old family in front of it?
Anonymous (216.228.23.43) 2008-10-06 20:05:05

the only shocking thing is your ignorance in being surprised none of them are obese. Funny thing, not everyone in America is fat, lazy, stupid, and/or worthless. Stop bashing somewhere you've never been or experienced just cause your a mindless sheep. Or, after rereading your comment MAYBE i misinterpreted it. Either way, who are we to judge ANY of these people.
Anonymous (67.240.96.178) 2008-10-06 13:03:27

all you people who aren blasting america. Its not like that at all. I live in america and i have fast food maybe 1 time 8 months and i never get pizza. My family eats healthy and there are some factors that play into diet such as income and your upbringing.
Valerie (71.127.25.244) 2008-10-06 13:17:10

Yeah RIGHT. With the stock market crash and our grocery prices, there is NO WAY the average american spends 300 dollars / wk on food. I spend 300 dollars a MONTH on food with my family of 5!
¡¡?un?p os ?,? (63.146.101.44) 2008-10-06 15:54:08

My condolences for your family.
Anonymous (76.190.152.134) 2008-10-06 19:10:37

that was s. carolina, where they eat like junk stuff such as pizza and mcdonalds and other fast food places that cost a lot over a period of time.
Anonymous (216.228.23.43) 2008-10-06 20:06:19

Where do you live? cause 300 dollars a month won't buy me shit in northern california, im jealous.
Anonymous (70.159.38.247) 2008-10-06 13:47:50

Notice it says "1.23 cents a week" It doesn't say for food.
Anonymous (58.105.176.105) 2008-10-06 19:50:07

how the fuck do you eat all that!?
Anonymous (76.101.18.158) 2008-10-06 23:23:13

My sentiments too. I laughed so hard when I read what you wrote. It about killed me.....lol
Anonymous (65.80.155.43) 2008-10-06 23:04:18

I live in North Carolina and I don't really see anyone I know spending THAT much on food per week! That's a huge number.
Anonymous (76.101.18.158) 2008-10-06 23:20:58

I'm just waiting for some moron to come out with the Darfur diet plan and make a fortune....
ponce de leon (76.26.72.65) 2008-10-07 00:32:15
